Spiritual Mother, Australia is a visual homage to Aboriginal ancestral wisdom and a personal journey toward spaciousness, surrender, and spiritual reconnection.
Inspired by the book Mutant Message Down Under by Marlo Morgan, this piece reflects a realization that modern life often suffocates us—filling our time, minds, and bodies to the brim. In contrast, the Aboriginal way of being speaks of sacred emptiness: space to breathe, to feel, to listen—to self, to nature, to the invisible.
This painting is born from a moment of inner truth: “I feel so tight—trapped in my head, my body, my life.” Through its forms and textures, Spiritual Mother expresses the longing to dissolve the noise, to peel away the layers, and reconnect with what lies beneath—intuition, presence, and something much greater than the self.
The figure of the Mother here is not only maternal but spiritually primal—a force of Earth and soul. She holds space. She doesn’t speak, but she knows. She is the keeper of silence, the one who reminds us: things can only happen where there is space.
The visual language draws from Aboriginal traditions—symbols of land, sky, spirit paths, and sacred connection. Yet this is not imitation—it is resonance. A deep bow to a culture that teaches through presence, ritual, and harmony with all life.
Spiritual Mother, Australia is a portal. An invitation to stop filling every moment. To soften. To empty. To let intuition rise from beneath the layers, and to meet the vast intelligence of the Earth, the body, and the soul.
It is a prayer for simplicity. For slowness. For the sacred feminine within.
